The broader aims – and blame – behind a “made in America” massacre

Just because the Qana massacre was so horrible, it’s very important to understand who is responsible, and why, and what they will do next. Journalist Robert Fisk, writing for the UK Independent (31 July), says he examined the fragments of one of the missiles that wiped out most of two families. It was American-made, and on it was written, “For use on MK-84 Guided Bomb BSU 37 B.” The warplanes involved are also believed to be American, although the Israeli air force flies French Mirage fighters as well. हामीलाई खुला र भूमिगत भन्नेमा तात्विक रूपमा खासै अन्तर लाग्दैन । यसअघि पनि हामी जनताको बीचमै थियौं र अहिले पनि हामी जनतासँगै छौं । फरक यति हो कि भूमिगत हुँदा हामी गाउँका जनताका माझमा बस्थ्यौं भने अहिले हामी सहरका जनताका बीचमा आएका छौं । त्यसकारण हामीले त्यति ठूलो अप्ठेरो वा असहज परिस्थितिको सामना गर्नुपरेको थिएन र छैन । (more…)
